Meet “Kitkat” The Calgary 4-H Region 2026 Charity Steer! This handsome steer was generously donated to the Irricana 4-H Club by Thorlakson Feedyards and is being fed and trained by the Brundige family. Together, they chose his name, Kitkat, a symbol of partnership and community spirit.
When Kitkat enters the sale ring on May 31 at 4-H On Parade, every dollar raised from his sale will go directly to support the Alberta Children’s Hospital. This initiative allows our club to extend the values of 4-H beyond agriculture and into the lives of children and families across Alberta.
The charity was selected by our members from several meaningful options, reflecting their desire to give back to youth both within 4-H and beyond. Your bid is more than a purchase, it is a direct investment in children’s healthcare and community well-being.
Supporters will have the opportunity to bid on Kitkat at the 4-H On Parade Auction, at Stampede Park on May 31, 2026.
