From mastering the art of public speaking to showcasing their skills in multi judging competitions, there’s never a dull moment or lack of opportunity for our members to compete and build their skills. Each year Achievement day is packed with excitement as members proudly present their hard work to their peers before moving on to the highlight of each year – 4-H On Parade, where friendships are forged and memories are made. Whether you’re a potential member, a community leader, or one of our esteemed supporters there’s a place for you in our 4-H family. Come join us and be part of something truly special!
Our members are required to participate in three main activities each year:
Public Speaking
All age categories compete in a one day showcase of communication skills. Members compose a speech or build a presentation to be given at the club’s yearly communications day. The top two from each category go on to compete in area, district and regional competitions through the spring.
Multi Judging
Members are required to put their judgement to the test as they evaluate a selection of different species and Items. The goal of the competition is to develop critical thinking skills while learning something new and having fun.

Achievement Day
From clinching Grand Champion titles in Market Steer to securing victories in Breeding Ewe divisions, our local 4-H members demonstrate their skills and knowledge in a yearly event that acknowledging their achievements and plays a vital role in building confidence, active engagement in learning, and the ability to establish objectives and evaluate outcomes.
