On November 11 th , 2025 we had our Sheep Nutrition Clinic. Peter from Nutrition Partners came out to teach us all about sheep nutrition.
Thank you so much to Wheatland Equestrian for hosting our clinic. We learned about proper feeding, sickness, growth and tips for our sheep. We also learned about macro and micro minerals and why the matter in different stages of a sheep’s life.
Our members asked lots of questions, took lots of notes and got to look at all different types of feed and minerals. I feel like after this clinic our members feel more confident about the upcoming 4-H year and may even start a breeding flock of their own.
Thank you so much to Peter from Nutrition Partners for being a part of our 4-H journey and making sure we have strong and healthy show lambs. We are excited to use what we learned this year and continue growing as sheep members.
