We had our Sheep Prospect Clinic January 31, 2026 at Tilleman’s Farm. We started the clinic learning how to pick a good market lamb and a good ewe lamb. Then we got a lesson in multi-judging. We judged bulls, replacement ewes, market lambs, and ewe lambs. It was good to practice giving oral reasons and explain why we placed animals the way we did. We also learned what to feed our animals and what lambs need to grow big, stay healthy and living. Abby showed us what tools and supplies we should have and use for grooming and what to bring to shows. We had such a great time at this clinic and learned so many things that we can use for the rest of the 4-H year. Thank you to Mandi and Josh for hosting and Abby for teaching us a lot about sheep and judging!
