Multijudging is a core skill for life. On Saturday, April 11th 4-H members gathered in Brawn Arena at Olds College in order to make a decision on the rankings of numerous categories. Presented with 10 classes of 4 items, members place each item from 4th to 1st and gave reasons for their choices.

The 10 categories at this years event included roosters, dairy heifers, manure forks, ranch horses, sheep, steak, wool, sileage, hay, and hunting arrows.
Members had up to 3 hours to make their placings and provide their reasons to the judges. The prize is quite generous as well, braging rights are awarded to those who placed each category the closest to what the judges have placed.

It also serves as a great opportunity to meet youth from other clubs. With over 175 4-H members in the bleachers of the arena, meeting someone new or reconnecting with an old friend is a common occurrence.
All in all, multujudging provides new skills and more opportunities to meet people in a competitive setting.
